Rather serendipitous you'd post this as I just now started a new playlist where I'm going through The Moody Blues discography the first time, as well as some other early prog bands I've missed out (Caravan, Camel, Van der Graaf Generator) plus Marillion.

Rather serendipitous you'd post this as I just now started a new playlist where I'm going through The Moody Blues discography the first time, as well as some other early prog bands I've missed out (Caravan, Camel, Van der Graaf Generator) plus Marillion.
The big playground joke when I was a kid was that Moody Blue turned Wings guitarist Denny Laine was the inspiration behind the song 'Penny Lane' by the Beatles.
