I thought the whole Romero story-line ended in such an anticlimactic way. No way Norman was getting the drop on him like that. I guess I like that he got reunited with Mother at the end. It was better than seeing him in a rubber room or something. There's no chance for a possible reboot down the line now though.

I agree with you that the Romero storyline ended in a little too much of a matter of fact way, but I don't have a problem with Norman getting the drop on him. This is a guy who broke out of prison and traveled hundreds of miles simply to kill a man. It became obvious he didn't care what happened to himself as long as he was able to kill Norman. I like that Norman spent a healthy chunk of the episode reliving the past, but didn't exactly understand why "head Mother" left so abruptly. She should have been the one that tried to kill Dylan. I would have liked to have seen more of the struggle between her and Norman that were shown a few episodes ago. Overall, I enjoyed it. Why would you want there to be a possibility of a reboot? The show just ended.

The show just ended. I also don't get why "Mother" just left. More elaboration would have been nice. I love Freddie Highmore, and I feel that the characters and story-telling were very solid. With this being a re-telling, they could have taken the story anywhere down the line. For this show, five seasons was just right, and it ended on a very high note. I hate when TV shows go on too long. I'm okay with it ending, but I'll miss Norman.

I was expecting more of a twist ending, but the ending we got was fine.
For the record, I loved it when Norman got Romero.

I thought it was a very fitting end to the series. I liked that the creators said that it was always the intention.
