Who loves to watch the trailers for horror movies? And who agrees the 80s trailers are most of the best ones?
Trailers today suck, we all know that, I always hold them to the standards of the 80s, 70s, etc., just enough information to draw you in, to get you interested, but they didn't tell you everything and it didn't look like it would suck.
Oh and can we agree the 80s had the BEST narrator for horror trailers? I miss the narration, that guy could say ANYTHING and it sends chills up your spine.

Yep, both the 70s and 80s offered the best horror movie trailers, bar none.

Eh, that Elm Street trailer shows every single death. I think the trailers for Alien and The Shining would be better examples of that.

So did The Blob, but until you saw the movie you had no idea what was actually going to happen.
Never saw the one for The Shining, but I recently saw the one for Alien and I told a friend of mine the original audience who saw it must've been losing their minds, you go to see another movie, this plays first, you have NO idea what's happening but you get sucked in to it.
