Taxes are going to have to be on the menu soon.
I'll probably just graze whatever I've got.

Taxes are going to have to be on the menu soon. I'll probably just graze whatever I've got. I just did that over the weekend. Give me an extension, and I'll take it. I'm going to do oven ribs, with the sauce that my Dad always used, from The Joy of Cooking. And, I'll have a salad or Cole Slaw. The July 4th is one of the days that I allow myself to pig out on potato chips/dip, so I probably won't be terribly hungry for dinner. That means left overs on Sunday.

We celebrated our 35th Anniversary on June 18th. I didn't marry until a few weeks before my 36th birthday. We flew to Maui to get married, there was no way I was going to be a bride and go through all that wedding fuss. Some people were angry but we spent our money wisely, we had a nice 2 week vacation in Hawaii, put a down payment on a house and bought a brand new washer and dryer and still had money left. I bought the rings, a set of plain 14K bands from Spiegel for $125.00 for both rings.(remember them). Neither of us remember who proposed or if it we just decided to do it. I guess we are strange.

Sounds like you are made for each other! Congrats I was 28 and would have done a small wedding. But I was the only daughter and my parents really wanted a big wedding. They paid and planned everything. I was in Germany teaching school for the Dept of defense and the wedding was in California. You are a great match! Congratulations

Not sure. We would like to get T-Bones like that but we look for the ones that come two in a pack. Cheaper that way. So if they don't have the T-Bones two in a pack but they have rib-eye or porterhouse two in a pack that's the kind we will get.
Sometimes they will have them at a very low price but to get that price you have to buy the family pack. When we do that we just leave two out and put the rest in freezer.

Probably gonna go with crabcakes. I live in a no grill apt complex, which really cuts down on options.I did buy a 'smokeless indoor electric' grill a few years ago,the 'smokeless' being filling the bottom with water for drippings. However cleaning it afterwards is a nightmare so I rarely use it.
