I remember when the original Jurassic Park came out, it was being billed as kind of a kids movie. McDonald's was even promoting Jurassic Park Happy Meals or some crap like that.
I went to see it, and 20 minutes into the movie I'm thinking "this is DEFINITELY not a kids movie".....

Arachnophobia I think was marketed as a complete slapstick comedy while it was more of a genuine thriller with some comedic bits
