You are correct. The Russians do not classify kvass as alcoholic because it's only 1% alcohol. You gotta love the Rooskies. Lol.
What does your boy drink? I drank it for my first meal (at 1:30pm) and felt loosened up. I've got the Asian alcohol flush reaction gene so I'm super sensitive though it wasn't enough to turn me red. Watched Crazy Rich Asians and showed him that episode of Shameless where I learned the word "cyka" where the dad hired the Russian hooker to correctively rape his gay son. Too much tits and male ass for him. Had a mild headache in the past few hours which I guess is the hangover. My boy said he drank kids' champagne back at home, whatever that is. He's gotten drunk with the boys in recent weeks. He's never drank in front of me though. I chose the kvass because I've seen it in Russian-English bilingual Youtube videos and it's my first time coming across a real bottle. Tastes like a more palatable beer. The last time I got drunk was in January when I was on vacation in Florida and Corona was getting free advertising. That time I started drinking on an empty stomach too and stopped at about 2/3rds of the bottle. Got nauseated enough that I felt the need to stay in the bathroom in case I puked but I ended up falling asleep in an AirBnB room I shared with a snoring deaf guy (the beer helped me stay asleep I guess) and sobered up in the morning.
