If so, please describe. I notice I'm constantly doing this - fantasizing, inserting myself with a character, or as an observer, sometimes arranging things to modernize the movie, or to "make it better".. Assisting from my couch to the screen, back to my couch, and into my life as I walk out.

I do this all the time, though usually afterwards, thinking of scenes / lines that should have been "left out" or "added in"

Not while watching, but certainly afterwards.

Occasionally, I physically edit films after watching to improve pacing or remove content I didn't like.

I try to mentally "edit out" Hayden Christensen when I watch the Return of the Jedi re-release
