1971 was Clint's banner year. "Play Misty for Me", "The Beguiled" and, especially, "Dirty Harry". What a bumper crop. Clint caught every angle. I thought he was appealing in every one of these movies. I really cannot imagine any year being more successful for any actor than 1971 was for Clint. I know he is a diehard Republican, but I couldn't care less. I like the heck out of Clint.
