www.ign.com/articles/zack-snyder-snyder-cut-wont-use-single-frame-of-joss-whedon-footageToday at Justice Con, Justice League director Zack Snyder stated that he refuses to use even a "single frame" from Joss Whedon's reshoots of the film for his Snyder Cut - which is headed to HBO Max in 2021.
Snyder emphatically said that he'd "literally blow that f***ing thing up" before using any of Whedon's footage, stating too that the theatrical version of the film from 2017, which Whedon oversaw the extensive reshoots on, was "separate" from the DCEU timeline. "There would be no chance on Earth that I would use a shot from after I left the movie," he shared.
"I would destroy the movie, I would set it on fire, before I use a single frame that I did not photograph," Snyder explained. "That is a f***ing hard fact."I don't know what's going on here but there seems to be this whole anti Whedon thing going on lately because in article Ray Fisher made some more comments about him. "Now, during Fisher's Justice Con panel, Fisher said, replying to a question about his previous statements, "Obviously I put out some pretty strong words, and some pretty strong comments about Joss Whedon and every single one of those words, and every single one of those comments is true."
Fisher then added "there is a process that is being undergone as we speak to get to the heart of everything that I’m talking about."
"The man is probably scared," Fisher said, "and he should be because we are going to get to the heart of everything -- everything -- that went down."

At this point, it seems fair to say that the “reports” that bringing Whedon on board was Snyder’s idea were untrue.

Batman v Superman had a 69% box office drop in its second weekend. I really wish this would get a theatrical release, especially if was a few weeks after Captain Marvel 2 or something like that.

Makes sense. He finally gets a chance to make the movie he wanted. Why get outsourced material?

This doesnt surprise me, admire his passion but I also laugh at his maturity, what is he 50? why does he act like a 15 year old? Still glad to be finally seeing his version though, which is hwy his comments make sense, it's meant to be HIS version of the movie, to do that authentically it really needs to be all the stuff filmed under his direction.

It wouldn't be the Snyder Cut if he used Whedon stuff...

It's his movie, why would he use stuff from another director. Especially from one he seems to hate.
