I watched it yesterday. It had been at least ten years since I last saw it. I think it's quite a good horror-thriller. It's unique, suspenseful and places its Catholic guilt elements really well. Memorable sequences and stylishly done. The performance by Paula Sheppard as the highly unlikable lead character is also good.

I’ve seen it. Really enjoyed the story and the twist was pleasantly surprising.

As a child, always creeped out by box cover art when at the video rental store.

Oh yes! It's pretty damned good and has some really tense, scary moments. One of the first film roles I believe, albeit very minimal, for Brook Shields.

Before Covid it was announced it would be getting a remake by the original Director's Cousin Dante Tomaselli.
Also some trivia... The actor who played the large Neighbor was a Bouncer at a gay bar in real life. He apparently committed suicide at age 31. Apparently pictures of him getting stuck in a Turnstile appeared in a newspaper..
The actor playing Alice was 19 while filming.

It's an awful film that also happens to be awfully entertaining.

The actor had a dark aura about him.
