Somehow accidentally I clicked on the trial button when I placed an order last month, and I love it. I'm not fully utilizing the benefits because I don't know how to use the movie section and stuff, but I really like it.
When I found out I made this mistake, I doubled up and cancelled online AND I phoned them to make sure they knew I cancelled it, and to my surprise, while my Prime membership was indeed canceled, it was going to stay in effect until August 11th. They weren't going to cancel it immediately despite me calling them right away to explain I made an error.
Here's my question. Seems to me this is a rather handy thing. Do they keep records, or do they have any type of "maximum allotment" for how many times, or how often, one can use the "Amazon Prime trial" and not get on some sort of list or something that they're noticing you're doing it too often?
I definitely want to do another "trial" of Amazon Prime. I'd like to do several more "trials" actually. Come to think of it, I'm not exactly sure what the actual price really is, but if I can do a few "trails" every so often, this would be great.
Anyone have any experience with this?

I've done like 20 amazon prime trials... think you just need a new credit card each time. I always use the same address. I make a new email address and use gift cards i get from credit card rewards usually. A lot of the time if i wait to cancel until the day before the trial ends they ask if i want to extend the trial...

But they'll definitely notice that I've only got one and the same mailing address. As far as the credit cards, I'm rather limited in that department. I mean, I've got a medical card, but that doesn't mean I have to use it, right? What if they see that I use my regular charge card that I've used in my other purchases (ie: the ones I'm using in THIS Prime trial membership)?

Not at all.. take 5 minutes to make a new gmail and amazon account.. then just mark on your phone calendar when the trial ends

Idk... i guess its kinda difficult to keep making new trial accounts if you dont have a lot of credit cards and shit to use.. also ive spread out these accounts through like 5 years.. i dont go back to back months, I pretty much just make one when I need to buy stuff and want free shipping

autumn I'm doing a trial now because I changed my email. I had Prime and it cost around $12 or $13 a month. They say it's cheaper to pay yearly but I don't know about having several trials Prime is worth it for me because I get free shipping and I order things daily

I did about 3 free trials with the same email and credit card before committing. I suppose there is a limit, but I'm not sure what it is. My thinking is that they know that you will eventually sight up for good.
