A witness informed Law Enforcement he saw Brittney speaking with a man in a red or brown mid sized vehicle not long before she disappeared, Even though sketched flyers were distributed of the man’s likeness he was never identified, He is described as a white male, in his late 20s or early 30s, and driving a red or brown Buick Renault." From the article: "Allegations of abuse and neglect have been well documented in this case, Neighbors spoke about how Beer’s mother would lock her out of the house for misbehaving, In what is believed to be the last photo ever taken of Beers her hair is strikingly different, Her uncle James Allen Beers according to Beer’s older sister chopped her hair off because she “wasn’t taking care of it” Days after Beer’s disappearance this same uncle was arrested on an unrelated charge of domestic violence for striking her mother with a bottle. Beer’s mother had been urged to leave James due to the abused she however refused,
