I'm going through with this - last shopped August 1. Problem is, though I have a lot of food, I didn't plan for this, so I only have a few frozen fruits and vegetables, 1 dying sweet potato, and about 2 servings of oatmeal. Pizza crusts, but I'm out of mozzarella, etc. End of the month should be carrots, pasta and sauce, rice and beans, frozen meats, canned fish. got yer list ready? Avocados, bananas, romaine lettuce, mushrooms, tomatoes, napa cabbage, jalapenos, dino kale, mustard greens, chard, garlic, jicama, radishes, potato, mozzarella, hummus, corn tortillas, rolled oats pint or two of Ice cream, dark chocolate bar.

nice! how do you cook it? I just like it in salads, though I may add it to a stir fry late in the process. I should cull my list down.

Nice collection, but I am wondering...
Even with some freezing and cooking, how in the world do you keep all of those fruits and veggies fresh long enough?

Nice collection, but I am wondering... Even with some freezing and cooking, how in the world do you keep all of those fruits and veggies fresh long enough? I don't freeze much if any, and eat things in order of when they are in danger of turning. But some things get trimmed, and a few don't make it. Mustard greens go fast. The watermelon quarter I'll have today. Many I only buy 1 or 2 of (orange, apple, corn). Sometimes a race with jicama as the cut ones get slick after a while, and mushrooms can get a bit slimy over time. Tomatoes last, and even if they shrivel they are good. Celery lasts. Avocados last. Anything with a date I reach way back for a later one. Going to have to give away the hummus. Olive tappenade , should have been garlic. One of the pitfalls for the reach back.

"...mushrooms can get a bit slimy over time."
The mushroom vendor at our Sunday farmers' market (which is on Covid hiatus), directs customers to store mushrooms in brown paper bags only, and keep them in the fridge. He's adamant that it has to be brown-paper, like you'd take your lunch. Those are the bags he provides at his stall. If you buy them in the carton, with plastic wrap on top, transfer them. Plastic will lead to slime.
So far, in the couple of years since I heard that, it has worked. They'll shrivel, eventually, but re-hydrate as soon as you add them to whatever you're cooking. I've forgotten them for many days, and they're fine.
That's an impressive list. I feel healthier from having read it.

That's a handy tip for mushrooms - I'll try it (but note that the paper bag doesn't need to be brown).
For berries and grapes I'm not going to eat quickly, I give them a five-minute soak in a 4:1 mixture of water:vinegar, rinse, and let dry. Berries, I store in the fridge dry. I store grapes in a sealed Rubbermaid container with a damp paper towel top and bottom.
I often end up freezing bananas, but since I mostly use them in my NutriSmoothies, that's not a problem.
For spinach, it's a bit tricky to keep it dry enough to not get slimy but moist enough to not wilt. If I don't eat all of it in time, I just saute what's left and freeze it in a vacuum-seal bag.

You eat more fresh food than I do. That's great! Frozen veggies are more nutritious, actually, and I'm sure after a week, my fresh food doesn't have a lot. Got gorgeous, huge chard, but it's so bitter it hurts to eat. Will need to cook it.

I've had them where I could keep eating the leaves on the way home from the store.
