I would do either one without much concern (and I consider myself "at risk").
Mostly though, I just grab one out of the freezer and doctor the heck out of it (I know a lot of tricks). Rarely do I eat pizza more than once/month anyway.
I want to try making a "crustless pizza" (Papa Murphy's offers one) but with some kind of bottom for stability. Eggplant?
==================
In a few minutes, I'm going to mess around with an eggplant (slice/salt/dewater/press/oven) to see what I can do with it and then whip up an oven-baked Eggplant Parmesan. A similar process works pretty well to make "zoodles" (zucchini noodles), also on the agenda. I'm not doing keto/Atkins - just trying to find a few creative ways to reduce the amount of refined carbs that I eat.

it depends on the situation. One local place we order from isn't doing delivery at the moment

Their house special (damn near everything and a lot of it) is my traditional Thanksgiving dinner (although I have to pick it up on Wednesday). I ate a a local place in Federal way, there was so much grease on top of the pizza, if I patted it down with a napkin, then i'd have napkin residue as an extra topping. I had to put the napkin onto the table, hold the pizza slice, then tilt it and let the grease drip onto the pizza. it was awful. I only tolerated it because my money didn't pay for it

I have a Marcos Pizza a 2 1/2 minute drive from my home so I just pick it up. They really do not do dine in, they have 2 small tables with chairs.

We live in the country, so no one does delivery this far out. We do Papa Murphy's and they have curbside pickup or you can go inside to pickup. I order it online.
