For the past few months I’ve transitioned from meat eater to vegan. I didn’t transition from meat eater, to vegetarian to vegan like a lot of people.
I feel like for the first time in a long time I am living for something important. I’m saving the world or at least I’m not part of the problem.

I went veg in the late 80s. Back then there was little information on it. I ate seaweed sandwiches for a while. I don't recommend them.
I was taking vitamins for a time but then stopped, recently I started to take B-12 and D-3 supplements just as a booster.
There's a lot more options now besides seaweed sandwiches!

Hopefully you won't go all nutzoid preachy picket McDonalds nag nag nag eat raw food Uber-Vegan .. that position is already taken on IMDB V2.1 and would hate to have to witness an organic veggie food fight to determine who is the Supreme Uber ! RE: "at least I’m not part of the problem" is that part of a mantra ... like the AA Serenity Prayer ? Have seen it used in the vegan context before.

WHY ? Being vegan works for a lot of people ! It's just that some get all preachy about it. Rather like Born-Agains

It was difficult and not a healthy option for me. Be careful and listen to your body.

Lets see how long you last. After 10 hours of starving wouldnt you love to tuck into a cheeseburger rather than a salad?

That’s great! I don’t think I could ever go vegan.

I’ve lost 40 lbs of weight. In 3 months.
I don’t need to lose anymore weight. I’m not doing it as a diet though.

Pretty broad brush you are using there. Nonetheless, it's true. Good luck with iron deficiency, B-12 deficiency, a weakened immune system, a higher risk of experiencing bone fractures, high blood pressure, rashes, or fatigue, just to name a few.

Well ...if YOU never met a healthy vegan .... guess that's proof positive that there are none !
