This summer ending doesn't bother be as much because the year was so terrible overall. I'm quite ready to move on to Fall and Winter and close it out. Everything being shut down for most of year made it seem faster and rather forgettable.

I'm the opposite. I hate the summer, love the winter. So the perennial demise of summer brings a ray of hope and the actual seasonal turning point provides an endless source of joy.

A bit once September starts, through Labour Day. Mostly because spring/summer occur much more gradually, from March ramping all the way up through June. Summer seems to flick off like a light with Sept, making it feel more immediate & a downer.
I think getting rid of daylight savings would be good for mental health. Shorter days can go fcuk themselves, time shifting the sun by choice is absurd.

I did when I was in school not so much recently since the weather has been pretty bad. I find the most depressing time December though, Christmas and New Year -especially with the shorter days.

Everything being shut down for most of year made it seem faster and rather forgettable. I normally love the fall, but all the festivals have been cancelled, and no idea what Halloween will be like. I think 2020 is just a dud.

September and October are some of the nicest months of the year.

No, I like all the seasons. And I also like Brian Setzer's cover.

No, our summers can be variable and very hot ( last year's bushfires as an example) and our autumn weather is perhaps the most beautiful time of year ( and our winters arent bad either, today in end August it is around 65-70 and brilliant sunshine)
so no.

Summers are warm which is better than our half-year snowy winters. But I'm gonna stay indoors more frequently starting next month because of online schooling. I hope I've saved enough money to not have to work as much for the rest of the year.

Not really as I donβt like hot weather.
I do like the extra daytime though.

I love the Summer. I love Spring, Summer and Fall, but can't stand the Winter. But love Summer over all. Hate that it's too cold to be outside for any length of time, the brownness and drab look of things, no blooms, empty and sad. And less daylight hours.

Not really, no.
In past years, I would be looking forward to the beginning of September. It signified a few things for me:
Hockey season would be starting soon. Bowling season would be starting soon. School starting up again (although I haven't been in school for 20+ years). Cooler weather was coming, which means we would be getting busier at work as I work for a coffee company.
If anything, I would get the middle of summer blues. I would only be out only one night a week as I play in a softball league.
At one point during the fall, winter and spring, I would be out on an average of 3 nights per week.

All seasons have something to offer. I look forward to the next season as much as the one I'm in.

I like all months except March, October and November.
