There is nothing special about her singing. Give me Grace Slick or Janis Joplin anyday. Or, as a matter of fact, Bea Arthur.

I have her autobiography, and I still haven't read it, lol Merman and Borgnine. I can definitely see how the initial attraction two such robust characters came about. (I like Ernest more than Ethel.) Just as easily can I imagine the origins of the demise of their marriage, which, I believe lasted around 39 days. What I can't imagine is their honeymoon.
