So Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang theory always talked about spaghetti with hot dogs. I looked it up and indeed it is a dish.
I made it and it was good.
Have you tried a TV food?

M*A*S*H "Spam Parmesan" I took some Spam, and added it to some Spaghetti & Sauce with Parmesan Cheese, and it tasted just fine... Not 5 stars or anything... but good to have if you want something different every once in a while. enigma72 , I started this discussion a while back, and had some interesting responses... You might want to check it out.

I made "Chicken Alla Joe" after it was mentioned on "The Blacklist". It was decent, but I have a LOT of ways to cook chicken that I like better.
I also made "Grillades and Grits" after hearing about it on "NCIS: New Orleans". I used top sirloin rather than a cheap cut though and liked it enough that I've made it twice so far. AAMOF, I have a "brick" (vacuum-sealed bag) of the grillades in the freezer and will be whipping up a batch of grits in the next week - to include some fresh sweet corn (bought three ears for a buck today). I don't use it for many things, but my Instant Pot is excellent for both ears of corn and grits.

I can't think of one from a sticom/TV show. However, the movie Seems Like Old Times, with Goldie Hawn, Chevy Chase and Charles Grodin, featured a dish called "Chicken Pepperoni." The script was by Neil Simon, so I figured that he just made it up. But, there are little hints as to what goes into it, throughout the film. I made up my own Chicken Pepperoni, which is nothing more than chicken, baked in a basic tomato sauce with onion, garlic and herbs. It's good. Later, I found out that there is, indeed, a REAL Chicken Pepperoni ... but, I couldn't be bothered. I like mine.

Mom with her Pearls and fancy apron. Dad in his suit or sweater. Fancy table setting. 'Can I be excused?' That wasn't my family!

The Jack Benny Show taught me to add flour to egg omeletes to make them more manageable.
Has anyone ever tried the milk-and-Pepsi combo that Laverne enjoyed on Laverne and Shirley?

Ooh, I remembered a dish from a sitcom. It was "Veal Prince Orloff," from The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Sue Anne Nivens (Betty White) made it for one of Mary's dinner parties.
I looked it up, and it's a real recipe, but it was more complicated than I cared to try. I might look at it, again, but I'd probably come to the same decision.

Back what I was the kid in the mid-60s I ate franco-american SpaghettiOs with Frank's. Pretty good product. They are still available under the Campbells label. As for food off sitcoms that I eat I can't think of any right off hand. But I do drink beer and that's featured in a lot sitcoms

I did, a long time ago, I remember it merely tasted like watered down Pepsi, but maybe I'll try it again.
Not so much sitcoms, cartoons, that's why I ever tried a peanut butter and banana sandwich, or peanut butter and pickles (I remember people posting about that a couple years back on here, the whole internet was apparently blowing up with this 'new' discovery that I was doing 20 years ago, and all the pictures everybody showed...this is not rocket science, you make a peanut butter sandwich, take pickle chips or stacker slices, drain them on a paper towel, and put them in the sandwich, it's delicious), and even green olive and jelly sandwich, sounds gross, yes I know, but it's actually delicious, a perfect blend of sweet and tart.
Though I'm curious about something from an episode of Mom, Christy mentioned lightly glazing bacon with maple syrup and putting it in the oven.

I mentioned Spaghetti aglio e olio on a different thread - which I heard about on "NCIS: Los Angeles".
It's simple to make (spaghetti sauteed with EVOO, garlic, and red pepper flakes) and fun to say.

I have not specifically tried that recipe; however the ingredients seem to be fairly standard. They should be very good!
