I have a half chicken breast, but I'm not sure how I'm going to cook it. Steamed broccoli, and maybe some rice. Not very exciting, but life sustaining.

If I lived alone I'd probably eat potato chips for dinner! So I think you are doing great! Divtal I am baking pork steaks with BBQ sauce. Sliced potatoes with olive oil. And some veggie. (Obviously not the important part of my meal in my opinion. Lol)

I love pork with BBQ sauce. And, potatoes with pork is a great match. Good call.

Lol Cooked/crumbled ground beef plus a can of Manwich sauce. On a hamburger bun. Personally, I'd rather use a package mix though. Manwich is a bit too sweet for my taste.

Today is a "prep day" for me - a lot of food getting a bit long in the tooth.
* pre-breakfast was assorted fruit while making two (4 servings) NutriSmoothies * NutriSmoothies - Strawberry-Strawberry and Apple Cinnamon Roll * breakfast - scrambled eggs (French style) with shrimp and cheese plus half of a jalapeno-cheddar bagel * lunch - turkey/ham/cheese/veggie sandwich * prep: a HUGE batch of "Holy Trinity" (sauted onions, bell peppers, celery) with jalapenos and garlic * prep: easy chili - a can of chili (using Stagg Dynamite Hot), a can of S&W pinto beans in chili sauce, a half-cup of salsa, a half-cup of Trinity, and a lot of peppery spices. * dinner - chili on leftover baked potatoes, broccoli with Parmesan, alt-cheesecake with sugar-free blueberry topping
It will be glorious.

Manwich Original Sloppy Joe's & Hashbrown Patties. Last time I had a manwich was in elementary school mcd Tell me how you make it. I might try depending on how hard it is. Lol Hard To Make? Not For Me. LOL! Buy: 15 Oz. Can................. Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce. 1 Lb. ..................... Ground Beef. 1 Package of 8-12 Count.... Seeded Hamburger Buns How To Make: Place the Ground Beef into a large microwaveable mixing bowl, and cook on high in the microwave, until fully cooked... Stirring well every couple of minutes...
Drain any excessive grease.
Takes about 10-15 minutes to brown the Ground Beef.
Add the Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce to the Ground Beef... Mix Well... and heat in the microwave on high for about 6 minutes... Stir Well.
Spoon some finished Sloppy Joe's sauce onto a bun... and enjoy.
Makes 6 to 10 sandwiches, depending on how thick you like your Joe's
Refrigerate any unused sauce... Re-Heat any left overs until Hot, when you want another Joe... Buy: 1 package (12 Count) ...... Hash Brown Patties. How I Make Them: I take a few frozen Hash Brown Patties... Place them into a microwave bowl, add a dash of water, and microwave them on High until hot...
About Five Minutes.
I usually chopped them up a bit at the end, to help them cook more evenly.
I'm too lazy to heat them up in the oven, but they are probably better that way.
I'll sometimes have them with Ketchup... They are also good with cheddar cheese... Or Both.
You can cook fries or tater tots to go with your Sloppy Joe's, if you prefer those instead. The "original" Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce is very basic, and not chunky... I supposed if you want to, you can add additional ingredients to it, such as green peppers or onions. Perhaps some additional spices or sauces. Maybe use Ground Turkey, instead of Ground Beef. Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce also comes in "Bold" flavor. I'm not sure what that is like. I prefer milder sauces. CORRECTION: Makes 6 to 10 sandwiches, depending on how thick you like your Joe's

I should try it If you buy some ready-deli-made cole slaw from your local grocery store... That will make adding that side dish easy too. Many Good and Tasty meals, don't have to be hard to make at home, if you take some short cuts. LOL!

We had stuffed cabbage rolls from Publix with Bob Evans mashed potatoes. I love stuffed cabbage rolls but when I tried to make them, they were a disaster - so much easier to buy them already prepared and just stick them in the oven.

My husband won't eat lumpy mashed potatoes. I can't get them smooth enough for him. Thanks

Thanks Not at all, I buy the original recipe and just heat them in the microwave, they are real potatoes and they taste better than most "homemade" mashed potatoes I've eaten. I don't like lumpy potatoes either and for just 2 people, the regular size tub is enough.
