I have company coming for dinner this week and I have couple of bags of langostinos. I think I would like to make lobster rolls but I have not yet decided whether to use butter or mayo. Both kinds are popular, of course, but are quite different. Has anybody on this board ever made lobster rolls and might you have any tips to share? Thanks in advance.

No plan I've never made them But if you tell me what time they'll be ready I will be there!

The lobster rolls had to be put off until next week because a guest had had a recent dental procedure and asked me to make something soft so I made meat loaf instead. So, if anybody else looks in and might suggest a good way of making lobster rolls I would be very happy. I appreciate the clam chowder recommendation. That sounds good. My guest with the dental work only likes Manhattan style but I think that might be perfect.
