The clock in my bathroom will finally be correct again ! This year we threw out the clock that was impossible to change easily. Bought a new, easy one. Glad you will "be on schedule" Lol

Oh no. It will be dark early. I don't like that. Is that your concern?

Oh no. It will be dark early. I don't like that. Is that your concern? I don't drive so well at night.

it's not like we have a choice Sure we do. We could discontinue Daylight Saving Time and cease with this incessant clock fiddling! Daylight Saving Time - How Is This Still A Thing?: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)

it's not like we have a choice Sure we do. We could discontinue Daylight Saving Time and cease with this incessant clock fiddling! as individuals, we have no choice ...other than not switching the clocks and having to do a mental re-adjustment to match the time in our zone. Getting politicians to do anything about it .... fat chance of that !

Our clocks in the UK went back last night.
When I used to work in facilities our manager decided to purchase radio controlled clocks to make it easier at this time of year. Unfortunately half the clocks would fail to get the signal and had to be collected and put in an area where theyβd eventually correct themselves. This also meant that what used to be a 1-2 hour job ended up taking 1-2 days.

It doesn't matter as much to me this year since I'm off from work that weekend anyway.

Like the extra hour of sleep and not feeling like I'm drugged getting up in the orning. Do not like that it gets dark earlier. Oh well. Can't please everyone!

The extra hour of sleep is bogus, it benefits you for a a couple of days then your body adjusts and you're right back to where you were...except that now it's dark at 4:30 in the freaking afternoon. I hate this shit.

I hate this shit. Yeah, dark when you get up, dark early in the day. The Spring clock change affects me more. It takes weeks to adjust to getting up a hour earlier.

The Spring clock change affects me more. It takes weeks to adjust to getting up a hour earlier. Same here, it takes me about three weeks to adjust in the Spring. For years now, I've been taking off the Monday after Daylight Saving Time goes into effect as a vacation day. That makes time change a little less jarring.

I like the earlier light, but don't care for the earlier dark. However, in 7 weeks Mother Nature will begin elongating the daylight in the northern hemisphere.
I'm glad that the switch was moved from the last weekend in October, to the first in November. The old date ensured that the tiny-tots were out for Trick-or-Treat, in early darkness. But, I don't know how many will observe the old tradition this year.
