Green beans and peas. Cooked or raw, doesn't matter.

Most kinds of fruit (honeydew being one exception since it gives me puffy lips); almonds and most things made from them (e.g., almond-based milk and yogurt); carrots (raw or cooked), tomatoes (just about any way), and broccoli (cooked, but not overdone); turkey, whether roasted or ground; several kinds of fish--heck, I just realized there are lots of things that I like that also happen to be good for me. I'm not sure whether to include peanut butter or not; I've never had a problem with peanuts, though, so I think I'll leave it here.
Now if only I didn't also like so many things that aren't good for me (which I'd rather not list here)! 😄

Me, too. What's your favorite flavor/variety/style, DP? My favorite yogurt is Dannon with the fruit on the bottom. I have always loved this one. As a matter of fact, when I was a kid and would go to the grocery store with my mom, I would plead with her to buy me yogurt. (I'm sure she found this a bit odd for a child to beg for yogurt! Lol!) I'd get a spoon out and stir up the bottom and I loved looking at the delectable fruit preserves. It just seemed so wonderfully decadent. I liked it better dessert a lot of the time. Blueberry was always my favorite when I was a kid. I still love blueberry, but the grocery stores don't seem to carry the "fruit on the bottom" anymore. Now vanilla is my favorite flavor by a long shot. I also love peach yogurt and coffee flavored, too. Though the latter is very hard to find, though. Dannon used to have a Dutch apple yogurt that was delicious, but they stopped making that one. I actually don't mind plain yogurt, either; though if I do get the plain, I will usually throw in some blueberries or raisins. But there is a tartness to the plain yogurt that I find appealing. These days, I usually settle on Yoplait, which is perfectly tasty. I don't mind the off-brand, either, if I should happen to be shopping at Aldi's. I wouldn't mind fat-free yogurt, though I will not eat yogurt that takes a sugar substitute. It tastes unpleasant to me. And the trend towards Greek yogurt is a little depressing. I think the thickness and the creaminess of my yogurt, but the greek stuff is too much for my taste. The yogurts that try and pass themselves off as desserts are not bad. I have enjoyed "key lime pie" yogurt and "strawberry cheesecake" and "tropical delight" and they're okay, but those are usually not my first choices. Now that I think about it, banana yogurt sounds awfully delicious right now. But I can't remember ever seeing this flavor on the shelves. At least Dannon never did a "fruit on the bottom" banana. I am pretty sure I have had Yoplait's banana "custard style" yogurt, which is super creamy and utterly fab. Now I'm going to have to run out to Meijers and see if they carry it! What are some of your favorites flavors and types of yogurt, ellen?

Tuna and salmon Almonds and cashews Unsweetened almond milk Spinach (raw organic or cooked) and broccoli Grapes and prunes I love prunes, they really are nature's candy. I love oranges too but I guess they have a ton of sugar. I may have to go down to the recycling center to get weighed ahurk! but I do not like cheese sauce on my broccoli. It ruins it. I like cheese/sauce but that's for nachos not broccoli. I see lots of people said yogurt. I like yogurt but I always forget to eat it. Kind of hard to reach for it when there are eggs and sausage links around. It usually ends up sitting in there until it goes bad. But when I do buy it I always get Oikos triple zero brand.

awesome question. yogurt, spinach brocolli, cauliflower, arugula, red beets, (pretty much all veggies) mushrooms, berries, pomegranate, chia seeds, almond milk, oatmeal... I also like sour kreut and dark chocolate. The two healthy things I really Dont like: fish and legumes. But I am trying to eat more of both. But i could live on spinach with garlic for weeks and be happy.

hamburgers that have vegetables on. That sounds good. Any vegetables go on your burger besides the usual suspects, e.g., lettuce, tomato, carrot and onion?

That sounds good. Any vegetables go on your burger besides the usual suspects, e.g., lettuce, tomato, carrot and onion? I think he was being a smartass. You put carrots on a hamburger? ha ha! No. I just put carrots down to see if anybody caught it. Which you did, immediately. I also really like broccoli, tomatoes, oatmeal, raisins and blueberries. And I love celery. That's one vegetable that I can enjoy cooked or raw.

Your list prompted this childhood ditty. "Which one of these things is not like the other one?"Water? I was gonna say ostrich because I'm not a lion in Africa. ostrich, of course... I don't even know where you can get ostrich. Can we look forward to such scrumptios looking restaurant items such as "baked manicotti with ostrich" and "cheesy ostrich kale soup"?
