I think it's better with the deleted scenes removed.
The glitches suggested he could be damaged--but when watching the original you never knew what could harm him so it was more suspenseful. I think they should have deleted the "I need a vacation" line. God I hate that line.

I agree, but that isn't what my point was. The only part that I think should have been left in the theatrical cut is the part where it actually explains why the T-800 acts more human in the second half of the movie.

But I can see how it's out of place for his character. Maybe if it was a line John taught him earlier.

Has anyone ever seen the version with a final scene that takes place in the future in which they've saved the world and everyones alive and safe? I know its out there because I've seen outtakes, but no the actual scene itself.

Yeah, I feel like Cameron was overexplaining a bit here. The thing melts in molten steel, kinda self-explanatory. Same with the T-1000 needing to murder Max the dog to confirm he got had.
