I like In-N-Out. Every time I go to California (which hasn't been in a while now) I make a point of eating at the In-N-Out at least once.
I remember the first time I ate at an In-N-Out. I was doing a job in San Bernardino and the guy I was working with told me that I HAD to go to In-N-Out for lunch, that their burgers were the best and the milkshake was fantastic and so on. So I did. There was a huge line, the likes of which I had never seen at a fast-food place. I went back to that same customer many times over the years and the lines at the nearby In-N-Out at lunch time were always big.

Really missed it when I moved from CA to TX in 2001. (Trivia - I used to be NJtoCA on IMDb).
They opened a couple in Dallas later, 3 hours north. Got there once, I think, driving to Norman.
Then maybe 10 years ago, they opened 2 about 10 miles away that I'd go to.
Then about 3 years ago, they opened one 3 miles away that's never busy. Texans think it's some affront to Texas and Whataburger (meh).
More trivia
In-N-Out in CA used to towel off the excess oil from fries. Bible verse numbers in cup bottoms.
When I came to CA, people had bumper stickers that said "In-N-Out urge " and I did not make the connection.

Oh man. I miss in n out
Used to live near the original location in baldwin park.
Went to it last summer. Bought a t-shirt from the company store. Wore it to the beach in ocean city New Jersey.
I had someone approach me and ask me if they had actually put one in New Jersey, lol
