VOTE FOR 2
Okay, a lot of supporting actors in this one. For me, I can just go ahead and immediately remove Lucas, Mike, Casey, James, Freddie and Josh. They all either didn't appear enough or were so obviously not of a caliber to win. That leaves us with Lamon, Matt, Brandon, Wally, Jay, Chandler and Greg as the real candidates.
For me, Matt Ashford wins this in a walk. He's a lead actor who winds up in the supporting actor category by virtue of how strangely MIA Jack and Jennifer were in the spring and summer of this year. We barely saw them at all, because Missy was apparently unavailable for much of the year. But when he shows up, he's, y'know, Matthew Ashford as Jack Deveraux. And he's got rich material going now. So I'm obviously voting for him.
For my second vote? Eh, Chandler felt like he had senioritis. Greg had the Mackenzie revelation, and then did nothing for the rest of his tenure and obviously bounced in late summer. Wally was, as he ever is, an extraordinarily competent actor who doesn't manage to be too engaging. It's really between Lamon, Brandon and Jay for me for the last vote. And I'll give it to Jay because he's back and he's playing Philip and all is as he should be. Lamon kills it every time, but he just won supporting actor last year, and I didn't enjoy much of his story. Brandon's also good. No offense meant Brandon.
