So are you one of those people who does this hate-watching a movie or tv show ?
Personally i don`t do this as i will only watch thing i enjoy or think i will enjoy, i find the concept of watching something simply to hate on it to be well if i am honest stupid.
If i watch something and hate it i will just stop watching it and watch something i enjoy instead.

Watching something and developing hate for it needs to be natural and authentic. It's hard to be fair to a movie going into it with preconceived notions.

I wouldn't put it that way, but I do watch movies I know I won't like.

I try to avoid watching movies I know I'll hate, but it sometimes happens anyway. I won't turn a movie off once I've started it, so I'll just let the movie play on and stop paying attention for the most part.

I watched the new Mulan movie today and hated it. I finished it though, not because I enjoyed hate-watching it, but because I could hardly believe how bad it was, and I wanted to see if it got any better. It didn't. I won't be hate-watching it in the future.

I hate watch MCU movies and Justice League or BvS.
I like the MCU movies at first but tend to dislike them with few exceptions on rewatch.
My kids love them though so I ruin the experience for them.

What are those few exceptions? Captain America trilogy and Black Panther The MCU movies are best suited for theater experiences with a bunch of people

Not familiar with that but I think it sounds like a big waste of time.

I'll be honest: I've hated watched Terminator movies and The Phantom Menace. Yeah, who does that though? They're still official parts of franchises I love. I hate that they're so bad, but without them the franchise is incomplete. Now that I think about it I've hate watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and will most likely hate watch Indiana Jones 5 too.

I kinda did that with Gods Not Dead. My parents were watching the DVD and I saw it with them. My fury for that awful film grew. Aside from that I do not do that.
