I don't feel any dilemma. One of the reasons I like Jake Gyllenhaal is he's as happy working with Joe Johnston and Roland Emmerich as he is working with Duncan Jones and Bong-Joon Ho. I don't care that 'Moon' is a greatest hits collection of scenes from science-fiction classics past with a smarmy robot voiced by Kevin Spacey, I'd still have had Michael Bay come in and blow things up, including the entire space station.

So what you're saying is that Gyllenhaal is "too good" to star in a Bay movie? Such pretentious nonsense.
Bay does better when it's a straight forward R-rated action movie. 6 Underground was a blast and this looks to be in the same vein.
Should be interesting.

If Anthony Hopkins can survive working with Bay, so can Jake.

I'm cool with this. Michael Bay can be exhausting but he's never boring.
