The deformed baby man is the only the only memorable character from that movie and no that's not a compliment.

After all these years, same old Vits...no opinions, no thoughts, no insight...just an arbitrary number rating and an occasional generalized empty statement. I miss the old IMDB boards so in some ways it's nice to know that some things don't change.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Even if it's wrong.

If I had to choose I would rather watch the Monster Squad. Not the greatest group of kids either but it did have the monsters.

If I had to choose I would rather watch the Monster Squad. Not the greatest group of kids either but it did have the monsters. One of the great and often overlooked scenes from that film, I believe is when the kids have been visiting the Scary German Guy, who sadly do know so very well, of real monsters. As he has far more knowledge than most people, about that kind of terrible subject. The Monster Squad might never had the same budget as The Goonies, but it came with a very impressive display of monters/creatures, loved Tom Noonan as the Mummy and Scary German Guy brought towards some more serious and touching scenes as well. The main theme song, is probably not as good as Cyndi Lauper and her number, but I have always liked the Monster Squad theme song:

After all these years, same old Vits...no opinions, no thoughts, no insight...just an arbitrary number rating Do I know you? The rating is meant to summarize one's thoughts. I write paragraphs or make full videos when I feel I have more to bring to the table that others haven't already said, but I can't do that with every movie. No one can, actually. That being said, whenever someone replies to me and asks me to elaborate, I do write more about it. This is after all a forum. an occasional generalized empty statement You don't like those? Then why are you singling me out when most people on this thread have done that?

Thank God. I thought I was the only one.
I can’t find this as nostalgic and charming as others.

When I was younger I enjoyed the girl running around in the tennis skirt. If I watched that movie now I would feel like a pervert, even though I'm guessing the actress was over age.

Rented it probably twice as a kid, once with Pee Wee's Big Adventure. I thought it was ok but not as good a movie as Pee Wee.
Tried to watch it a few years ago on DirecTV and just couldn't take it. The screaming and hollering, shouting over each other all at once. One of the most annoying, grating movies I've ever seen.
A shame, because the Pacific Northwest location is so beautiful. And underneath all the screaming is a good story/idea.

Never saw it. It's probably a classic and all that but I missed the boat and I ain't going back for it now.
Based on what I've heard, I could see having a soft spot for it if I saw it when I was younger.
