Sadly I've started to lose interest to one of my favorite shows I've given my years watching this yet I dont have any excitements for the upcoming episodes Can this show ever be saved? Why has it become so boring?

The show is not perfect. Never was, but don't turn this into the old board where over half the people claimed to hate the show, say it always sucked, say they don't even watch it anymore, and insult people who do like the show. IF THAT'S THE CASE, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU ON HERE? JUST TO TROLL, I SUPPOSE.

I think trolling can sometimes be justified, if a TV-show or a movie is overrated and that's the case with TWD.

I agree that it's fun to rag on the show sometimes. Especially in the writing. Do they write anything, or just copy and paste from the comic book speech bubbles? I would love to write for the show. I don't think it would be any worse than the writing now!

It's still better than it was on the farm. That was the most boring season of any show ever.

The last 3 seasons have been unwatchable for me. I tried to watch the season premiere twice. Couldnt tell you what went on. I was puffing around on fumes right around the time jesus showed up to perform his miracles. Last seasons "whodunit" premiere, though? That really killed this show for me. Whoevers in charge of this show doesnt respect the fanbase.

You're losing interest in your favorite shows because you have depression. Seek help.
Walking Dead is a good show.

I have to agree. I've loved the show....watched it in its entirety twice now (Kodi) but it is time to start looking for an exit. It's become less about Rick and the gang and more about tribal cultures developing...something I doubt interests many people.

It actually wouldn't be so bad if there was some thought put into it, but it's the same story over and over again. Rick and the Gang find a new place, declare it's home, work hard setting it up and everything looks right...then they meet a new group, led by a psychopathic yet charming villain, and a whole season is dedicated to fighting that villain and his group until an epic season finale where one or two characters (usually redshirts) are killed off on schedule. Then the next season it's the same shit all over again.

The show is better when bingewatched. Waiting a week (or months) in between episodes is a way to kill interest. Because when you are given just one episode at a time, you're bound to nitpick it to death and see more bad than good. And considering how the internet tends to highlight the negative over the positive, you're left with a negative impression. All these complaints people are having now, they were having as far back as the farm storyline in Season 2.
In other words...you're not going anywhere lol. No one actually quits this show.

You are probably right. This would be a better binge. I binged 2 1/2 seasons and I fell in love. The characters were the real story for me. Somehow, the show kinda killed what I used to like about these characters. Don't hate me, but I used to love Daryl. Now, his writing has been terrible and he is a thinly fleshed out side character. Don't get me started on Carole. She all the sudden turned into "get off my lawn" old lady Carole and it is getting old. I could go on about how they conveniently changed major personalities for the sake of plot. Lazy writing. But I'll still watch and hope it returns to a less formulatic style.
