Despite owning a SNES and N64 growing up I never played LoZ until recently. Last year I played OOT and MM. Loved em both. I mean REALLY loved them!
Now I'm playing Skyward Sword. I'm five hours in and...
I absolutely HATE it! It's bland, uninteresting and the motion controls are a pain in the @$$! Is it just me or is this game awful?

I liked only one part of the game but I can't remember what part, but after that the whole game was uninteresting to me. It ****in sucks, it suckin ****s and...I don't like it.

As a huge LoZ fan, Skyward Sword was a terrible disappointment. Along with the iffy motion controls, it had bland characterization, unimaginative, repetitive fetch quests, and an uninspired ending that seems to throw Ganon out for some new character named Demise.

After putting a whopping 25 hours into it I have to say that I am enjoying it considerably more. Most of my initial complaints remain though. The motion controls are just so frustratingly awkward.
Sailing through an ancient ocean in a time bubble in the middle of a desert was damn cool though!
