Saw it for the first time, not many months ago. I wanted so much, to love it. But it felt like one, which surely has the re-watchability factor, and I quite enjoyed the solid cast and the films fast paced style and combination of buddy-cop comedy, sci-fi/horror and action, along with some rather nice and more dramatic parts, as well.
Having just seen it once, I ended up with a rating of:
7,5/10
I think, they actually managed to make a DTV sequel, or follow up. Most likely, of totally different actors and moviemakers/writers. Not sure I will bother with that one. Still, The Hidden, along with Dead Heat (1988), Dark Angel aka I Come in Peace (1990) and Split Second (1992), are all films, which would be very suitable, for a bit of extra sci-fi/buddy cop late night movie marathon fun.

Feel like someone else could have filled Nouri's role better.

8/10 - This is one of my favorite low-budget films from the 1980s. The car chase at the beginning was very well done and made excellent use of "On Your Feet" by Shok Paris (1987). I recently bought the DVD and rewatched this movie in preparation for my latest quote thread.
