If we assume that there might be a god, and one that is all powerful, not an Abrahamic version, and we ignore how the presence of specific choice makes an omnipotent god impossible, it doesn't make sense to me. I think that the idea of an all-powerful god is incompatible with infinity. No matter how powerful we could imagine a god to be, one could come up with a more powerful one. Even if there is an ever-increasing amount of omnipotent, infinitely knowing immortal beings, it makes more sense to describe them as a succession and not as a ceiling of personified omnipotence. I could be wrong of course, but that's how it seems to me.
