Imagining the same characters in a similar situation is a stretch. Really there's no need to do a sequel, but I think it'd make more sense just doing another movie set in the same type of dilemma with other people.

Yeah... I don't want just a redo of part 1... Two people stuck in a house. Raise the stakes... Spice it up. May as well.
Part 1 required a level of disbelief...
