Director David Bruckner is collaborating with Spyglass Media to produce it.

Why Hulu? Does this make Pinhead a Disney princess now? Also do they not trust this to do well in theaters?

I liked The Ritual and this guy's next movie looks like it could be good... but he didn't make Super Dark Times as the article says.

As compared to the Friday the 13th sequels which felt like direct to dvd movies? Yeah I think it’d do ok. If they respected the material.

The material's been spit on for so long, why would the average fan be willing to pay ticket prices on the off chance that this one will be any different?

I actually didn't hate "Revelations" or "Judgement" despite their issues ... At least they were proper "Hellraiser" movies. Not random scripts hastily rewritten. (Made no doubt probably to keep the rights. But still...)
I'm indifferent to this reboot... It's whatever.

Admittedly "Hellraiser: bloodlines" is enjoyable enough. "Hellworld" is a mess... and the one about a reporter researching a Hellraiser cult feels like filler.
