Always thought she was better than the crap she ended up being in. Still looks great and still gives it her all in whatever she does.

A few days, too late, as usual. But yeah, a sweetie, and while I gotta say, I was never the biggest "fan" of the late 80s Halloween sequels, after the terrific first three, I do kind of have plans of go back, and re-watch part 4 and 5, maybe to just see, if my mind has maybe changed since the last visit, years ago.
Anyway, I really enjoyed her performance in the cult-classic buddy-cop action film, The Last Boy Scout, where she did a fine job, as the foul-mouthed daughter of Bruce Willis. Have not been to updated, on what she has been doing, for the past decade, or more. But a closer look, and I do notice some not exactly unkown films, here and there.

I never cared much for the 2nd Halloween movie (or as much for the 3rd as everyone seems to now), but I really think 4 is a good time. It's nowhere near the level of quality of the first, of course, but in the pantheon of silly slasher sequels, I think it's pretty top notch. It's a good deal of fun and she is truly terrific in that movie.

On one hand she gets to work a lot because she is a genre favorite... on the other hand she is sort of pigeonholed and for some reason she hasn't been able to leap to bigger budget studio sort of stuff. I think she's quite talented and certainly she has movie star looks. Maybe someone who is a fan will make a movie one day and give her a chance to really show off her chops as a dramatic actress.

(Was pissed with what happened in part 5 🙄) and I don't hate Rachel's friend. She freaking practically does somersaults to cheer up Jamie and pays the price for protecting her. Part 2 with Scout gets too shrill and whiny... Put a sock in it woman! Although probably a realistic portrayal of a teen who survived a massacre. Felt like a separate movie. I do like the small town feel in that too. The White Horse stuff and cussing gets old fast. Brackett's scene with Annie is great but I'd preferred if all of Laurie's poor friends weren't slaughtered. They seemed nice. I just marathoned the "Elm Street" movies. And am on part 7 of the "Friday the 13th" movies.
