The pictures look great. Also, there was a documentary with the same exact title that I watched years ago.

I'm not sure if Tammy Faye was directly involved in the PTL scandal because she wasn't charged, but she sure enjoyed the luxury. Jim Bakker, on the other hand, is a real sleaze who recently claimed his 1989 imprisonment was caused by "cancel culture".

How people could him all that money for his fake scams I'll never know.

Bakker, who has a had a new show on cable for several years, is still claiming innocence and persecution. Here is what I posted about a week ago on the Religion, etc board.
Sometimes “fallen” white male evangelical preachers have managed a comeback by admitting that he had been “lost” and turning their downfall into a tale of grace. Jim Bakker could probably have easily gotten away with this ploy with the people who still watch his show unironically.
Bakker, on the other hand, ranted about his convictions and “cancel culture” on his show late last week.
So much for self reflection.
Just a little refresher: back in the ‘80s, Bakker was convicted on multiple counts of mail fraud, wire fraud, and conspiracy. Among other things, he asked his sheep to buy “partnerships” in a hotel he was supposedly building but sold many more partnerships than he legally could. In addition, he had an affair with Jessica Hahn and paid her over a quarter mil to keep her mouth shut. Also, he and wife Tammy lived lavish lifestyles - all with partnership money.
He was sentenced to 45 years in prison but his jail time turned out to be just 5 years.
And yes, in 1988 the Charlotte Observer won a Pulitzer Prize for its revelations of this fraud.
After all this time, Bakker is still picturing himself as the victim.
