The Polish Army saved the Hapsburgs and they repaid by helping hack Poland to bits

The Polish Army saved the Hapsburgs and they repaid by helping hack Poland to bits Yup. Further proof that you can’t trust your fellow Christians, and definitely not your fellow Catholics. They should’ve just let the Ottomans sack Vienna.

They should’ve just let the Ottomans sack Vienna. The Partitions of Poland happened in 1772, 1793 and 1795. when most of the people that took part in the battle of Vienna was either dead or very old. So the Hapsburg of 1683 had nothing to do with the hacking Poland to bits. But that was how Europe was back than. Frankly Poland would have done the same thing to the Habsburg monarchy if they where the stronger state. The comment about letting the Ottomans sack Vienna is just stupid.

Lol, ‘the Hapsburgs of 1683 had nothing to do with the Partitions of Poland’. Get out of here with that nonsense. The Hapsburgs are the Hapsburgs. They did it. They partitioned it up, my man. And only a generation or two after the Poles helped stave off the Muslim horde at the gates of Vienna. So much for Christian solidarity.

I kinda already knew that. However, if the Muslim armies conquered Europe, in all likelihood, Wahhabism would have been the rule of law in majority of European countries.

The ottomans were Turks and Wahhabism is a gulf Arab tradition. Hell, it’s not even predominant in the Muslim world.

This pretty much marked the downswing of Ottoman dominance as they started losing ground in a string of brain fart wars and it all culminated with World War I. In the end, no side really won. The Ottoman Empire went down the tubes and so did the Hapsburgs control. Pretty much all the European Royal powers were wiped out between 1918-1925. Royal families still exist, but a pale ghost of what they used to be.

Well, even if not Wahhabi, Turks are predominantly Sunni, which still follows a very strict interpretation of Islam.

The Ottoman Empire went down the tubes and so did the Hapsburgs control. Pretty much all the European Royal powers were wiped out between 1918-1925. Royal families still exist, but a pale ghost of what they used to be. The Ottomans had been running on momentum (for lack of a better term) since the death of Suleiman the Magnificent in 1566. The bizarre politics of the Seraglio (More Byzantine than the Byzantines) turned most of the Sultans into feeble minded alcoholics and sex fiends. But the Grand Viziers of the Koprulu Dynasty kept the Empire running. But the Koprulus lost their mojo when GV Kara Mustafa was strangled on Mehmet IV orders in retribution for Vienna. Leaderless, bereft of the FRanco-Ottoman alliance that befuddled the Hapsburgs, the Turks were ripe pickings, especially for Eugene of Savoy. The Battle of Zenta in 1697 was the beginning of the terminal decline. They had moments, staying out of the Napoleonic Wars was brilliant, but the good times were over.
