With the recent rumor that Harry Lennix as Martian Manhunter might be in the Flash movie (keep in mind, this has by no means been confirmed), I’m guessing that the Flash movie is going to partially function as a reunion of sorts for the movie version of the Justice League. We already know that Cyborg was supposed to be in the movie, before the falling out between Ray Fisher and WB/DC Films, and Ben Affleck was confirmed over a year ago. Meanwhile, Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, and now Harry Lennix are all rumored to be in the movie.
Anyway, that’s what I’m guessing. It probably wouldn’t satisfy the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse crowd, but it would make it the closest thing we’re likely to get to a Justice League sequel in the near future.

Charles Roven said off-the-cuff in an interview that something is happening. Whether it has the Snyder cast or not remains to be seen.

Ben Affleck has shown a renewed desire to play his version of Batman, the others (Gadot, Momoa, and Miller) are all still in (so far), and Cyborg can be replaced with Martian Manhunter (Lennix) [sorry Cyborg], so voila! Justice League! But if Abrams goes with a different actor then the game of the day will be solo movies with different actors (which it already seems to be). Chances of a team up or JL 2 will be that much lower.

And that's too bad, because he might be the best casting choice of them all. I love Gal Gadot and I really liked Ben Affleck, but I think Cavill might actually BE Superman. lol

This franchise just keeps getting messier all the time. Either continue the same canon or reboot. This feels like a half measure that will satisfy no one.
