Anybody has seen Copshop yet? Can you please explain the ending, the two cars driving (where/ why??) what were we supposed to think was going to happen next?
(good movie, certainly recommending to see)

Gerard Butler was getting away. The female cop, upon hearing on the radio that he had been spotted on Highway X direction Y, commandeered the ambulance and went after him in order to try to arrest him.
I second your recommendation. I went in not expecting much and ended up quite enjoying it.

Seems to be the consensus.

Because she is a very conscientious police officer who knows that he is a dangerous career criminal? I could buy her allowing him to go free in gratitude for him having saved her life, but I think it would be completely out of character for her to go out of her way to actually HELP him escape. Besides, why would she think he even needed her help?

No need for her to go UNLESS she wanted to help him.

Yeah, I thought it was a bit far-fetched that she would go after him in her condition, but I guess it was meant to show how tough and how dedicated she was - and possibly leave the door open for a sequel!

“Although I support all films me and my partner [Joe Carnahan] make, I’m not very pleased [with] how my performance was cut,” Grillo wrote about the final cut of “Copshop” as seen in theaters. “Without detail, I’ll say I gave a much more 3-dimensional take that was very colorful and very well planned out. Needless to say, that’s not what ended up in the film.”

Good movie with a bad ending. FULL SPOILERS BELOW.
Should’ve just ended with Officer Young killing Teddy. Keep Viddick dead and axe that entire stupid subplot of the other officers in on the murders. Then the whole singing in the car thing at the end was just dumb.
Otherwise I really liked it and I’m a little surprised it’s not more popular (a meager 6.3 on IMDb?). There are some genuinely great moments in here.
