"Human remains discovered in Teton County, Wyoming, on Sunday are "consistent with the description of" missing 22-year-old Gabby Petito, FBI officials said in a news conference.
"Full forensic identification has not been completed to confirm 100% that we found Gabby, but her family has been notified of this discovery," said Charles Jones, FBI Denver's supervisory senior resident agent in Wyoming.
The cause of death has not been determined, he said.
Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue told CNN an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, saying officials would confirm the identity through photographs, personal identification or DNA."

Now it has: homicide. Now the question is, was it accidental or deliberate homicide? I guess accidental homicide would make it manslaughter or negligent homicide?

Kind of saddens me Petito has made this sub board so much more active. Why. Don’t you like Gabby? She seems like a sweet girl. I'm pointing out that out of any threads on this sub board this one has had the most comments.

Brian is not a suspect. Why was he using her ATM debit card after he knew she was dead or missing? And if he knew she was dead or missing, how come he didn't notify the authorities immediately before driving all the way home to Florida in her van and saying absolutely nothing?

And if he knew she was dead or missing, how come he didn't notify the authorities immediately before driving all the way home to Florida in her van and saying absolutely nothing? I don’t know maybe it was an accident and he panicked. He doesn’t have to talk to police and that would be the wise thing to do.police are liars and will do anything to get someone to confess or say something wrong. Maybe, he didn’t have any money so he used her card and how do we know the exact time of death to say he used her card.we must not jump to judgment without all the facts. My assuming he is innocent is much better than judging him like everyone else is doing. I try to be fair and not judge. 1. Hence my original comment that it was manslaughter or negligent homicide. 2. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, the card was used after her last known sightings. But maybe you're right. Perhaps he used it without her authorization while she was alive and she called him on it and got killed for it.

Not right. No, I'm simply saying that you are right in that we don't know the exact time he used the card. Everything else is just my own theories and speculation. All of his actions after her disappearance and now confirmed homicide are making him guilty.
