worth watching. Almost.
I haven't seen Ringu, but even finding average horror movies from the 1990s that I haven't seen is getting very difficult. It seems like all that is left is terrible horror movies.
Any obscure recommendations?

Here's 10 random suggestions :
'Def By Temptation' (1990)
'Cast A Deadly Spell' (1991) 'Cronos' (1993)
'Aswang' (1994) 'Cemetery Man' (1994) 'Nadja' (1994) 'The Addiction' (1995) 'The Day Of The Beast' (1995) 'The Night Flier' (1997) 'Ravenous' (1999)
Hopefully these are relatively obscure movies you might enjoy if not seen already. I purposefully avoided selecting any titles I like that I think you'd probably not rate at all. Actually, I don't like 'Cemetery Man' but I'm not a big fan of the director's work after his first feature-length horror movie.

Thank you. I have heard of the first 2 and I have seen the ones in bold. I'll look into the 2 I haven't heard of.

Not really interested in From Dusk Till Dawn 2 or Waxwork 2 and have to watch Phantasm II, before I get to 3 and 4. I've never heard of There's Nothing Out There. I'll check on that.

There's Nothing Out There is basically a prototype for Scream, complete with its own Randy. I recall enjoying the second Waxwork more than the first. FDTD2 is underrated. The director made Intruder and worked on Evil Dead 2 so there's a lot of zany camera angles and humor, and Robert Patric is always a plus.

How much Robert Patrick in the movie? I watched The Prophecy 2 and 3 yesterday. Surprised Christopher Walken kept starring in them.

Even the third is okay. Never saw those. You've seen the first two Wishmasters, right? Dopey movies, but worth watching for the ridiculous deaths and the main guy's scene chewing.

Fred Ward and Michael Gross are hired to go worm hunting in Mexico. There have been new attacks and now the worms are evolving.

I've seen much worse sequels released to theaters. Wishmaster 2 features a guy fucking himself to death. How many movies can boast that? On that note, did you not see Curse/Cult of Chucky?

Tales from the Hood and Body Bags are both really fun, underrated anthology flicks from the Tales from the Crypt era.
