One would think that out of a couple of dozen 007 movies, with all the sky diving and other stunts, that the 007 films would have more fatalities than a Baldwin movie.
But thus far, I've only found one. And it was a "freaky" accident during the filming of "For Your Eyes Only" involving the bobsled. You'd think it would be another stunt, but it wasn't.
There's really no excuse for lack of safety concern in filming. None. I've worked with people in Entertainment who claimed that they wanted things to look real, and so they avoided safety protocol. And each time, it was a lie. They just wanted accidents to happen "accidentally on purpose".
There's no other way to explain it. 99% of viewers are a little more normal than the geeks who freeze frame every microsecond of film and enlarge each section to look for continuity errors and something to "geek" about. There's no way that a sane person can believe that a director or producer actually gets away from safety concerns just to pacify these "geeks", of whom I'm sure most post here on IMDB.
And lets be honest. These "geeks" only insist on doing this just to make sure some directors do cause these "accidents". The geeks don't fool those of us with IQs over 74.

I don’t think that’s the case. It seems like you’re assuming that a lot of people that work on film sets are sociopaths.

There was also another non-fatality when Harold Sakata, the actor who portrayed Oddjob in Goldfinger, had his hand burnt when his character was being electrocuted.
