Theatre actor Billy Crudup has performed in plays by some of the world's greatest playwrights. The 4-time Tony nominee has received the Tony Award, the Obie Award and the Drama Desk Award for his work and he recently received the Emmy Award for his work on television in 'The Morning Show'. In 2018, Crudup displayed his talent while portraying as many as 19 different characters on stage in David Cale's virtuoso Broadway show 'Harry Clarke'.
Billy Crudup
I have been a supporter of Billy Crudup's career since I first saw him on cinema screens in the mid-1990s in Barry Levinson's harrowing drama 'Sleepers' (1996). I think he's gone on to do fine work in cinema and I think his contributions to the medium are being better-recognised as time goes by.

I've been a fan since I saw Sleepers in 1997.
His and Ron Eldard's entrance to the movie is one of my favorites. The different paths the characters go down after being raped, Billy Crudup and Ron Eldard end up as violent criminals. Unfortunately for Kevin Bacon's character.

I was a fan at the time of Ron Eldard for his work on television opposite Giancarlo Esposito in 'Bakersfield P.D.'.

Never heard of that show.
It was kind of like a parodic extension of 'Police Squad' with Leslie Nielsen, 'Sledgehammer' with David Rasche and 'Hooperman' with John Ritter. I liked it.

I use to watch ER and he was in 17 episodes of that show. Great show until the later seasons.

It was great early on. Quentin Tarantino directed an episode and drew a direct homage to 'The Last House On The Left' (1972).

I know that he directed an episode, but not until long after I stopped watching the show.

I'm much the same. Once I stopped watching George Clooney shot up the charts and other cast regulars found roles. Anthony Edwards on the other hand, a fine movie actor, seemed done with cinema. The gorgeous Sherry Stringfield, not sure what happened to her.

I think I watched it for a couple more seasons after that, but it didn't feel like the same show anymore.
