When I mean "advertise", I mean movies that you share to others. On movie message boards or in face-to-face conversation. There's a handful of movies I consider 10/10, but don't share them usually because they've probably seen them, like "One FLU Over The Cuckoo's Nest" Sult (1966) - ok.ru/video/2119942081134?fromTime=2540It's a great movie about a starving writer with a non-cliched personality. I gave it an 8/10, but it's one I recommend a lot. Ostatni dzień lata/The Last Day of Summer (1958) - It's only 66 minutes long, a 7/10, but a movie I love watching. It used to be on Youtube in full. It's a movie with two characters on an island. Despite not having a lot of dialogue, it's still great. A movie I'd watch right now even if there were no subtitles. I found this link - www.cda.pl/video/734238785 --- it's only 59 minutes long (hope they didn't cut out the 8 seconds of nudity - Eastern European women are so beautiful) Paradise: Love (2007) - Unique movie. Also, when I recommend a movie made in my lifetime, people I know seem extra interested, and usually give newer movies a chance. 8/10

I share anything that I consider good. 7/10 and higher.
I barely rate any movies 10/10.
I particularly recommend any movies that I rate 8/10 and higher though.

I think i have seen about 3000 movies in my life time, and out of those 3000 movies i have only given 5 movies a 10/10 score.
I don`t really recommend movies out of the blue, if somebody ask me i will recommend a movie. I recommend movies i have rated between 7 and 10. Sometimes i will recommend movies i have rated 5 and 6. I never recommend movies i have rated between 1 and 4.5. But as i said i only recommend a movie if somebody ask me to recommend a movie.

I've seen about that many, and have been in a 2-yr slump, so if you could give me a recommendation, I'd appreciate it. I'm not sure if you know my movie tastes, but I'd be happy to list my IMDB ratings, top 10 movies/directors. I miss that feeling of knowing a great movie instantly. I remember even pausing it, so I could sit and imagine for a bit, and maybe partly because I didn't want it to end. I've tried to watch movies I've only seen once and loved (to get out of the funk), but I prefer to see something I haven't seen before. It's rare that I can even start a movie, and by now, I know within 20 minutes if I'm going to continue or turn it off.

Countless. I wouldn't even know where to start with naming.

Back in the late '70's a friend who preferred light classical works and taught music at a high school asked me about all the fuss being generated over The Rocky Horror Picture Show. So, I invited her to attend a midnight screening with other friends.
After the movie, I asked her if she wanted to see it again the next weekend and got an icy stare accompanied by a clipped, "No." We are still friends all these years later, but she hasn't asked me for a movie recommendation since.
