In today's movies it's not strange to see a girl going after a guy, but back in the day, it was usually the man typically chasing the woman in most movies. What are some movies from more than 20-25 years (or so) ago where the girl/woman pursues the guy/man, instead of the other way around ?? SAVE FERRIS

How about 83 years ago? Uptight professor Cary Grant is pursued by flighty Katharine Hepburn who gets him in a world of screwball trouble.

Bell Book and Candle The Sterile Cuckoo The Nutty Professor Dear Heart Sunset Boulevard Fatal Attraction
BTW- the most common plot in a romance movie is not the guy chasing after the girl but both guy and girl accidentally/inadvertently falling in love- it was the staple of all those Rock Hudson/Doris Day movies

The latter part of The Women (1939) focused on the heroine trying desperately to win back her (unseen) ex-husband who had cheated on her and left her for a horrible human being. Needless to say the movie doesn't play too well by today's standards.
