End year, lush cinematopgraphy, with shots which linger in very emotionally resounding ways which convey character moments as well as development as well. A nice ode as well to a long ago and forlorn era.

How's Bradley Cooper's chances look for a nomination?

It’s okay. The cinematography is pretty good, but the film as a whole is meandering is unfocused and the characters aren’t compelling enough to make it work. Still, PTA is a master at his craft and I will gladly drink his milkshakes, so despite being a burning disappointment, I give Licorice Pizza 5 bags of popcorn and 5 bags of soda.

Still overa a quite good movie and had very enticing moments but to me it was his weakest mostly of not ONLY because of the writing. I got quite excited few times that it was going to get better (cop subplot and Bradley freak out) but it went right back to being somewhat underwhelming.

How's Bradley Cooper's chances look for a nomination? I thought his scenes were great.

Decent flick, but one of PTA's weaker ones. Overly long (a common complaint of mine with many modern movies) and downright boring in places. Even so, I enjoyed enough of the movie to be glad I watched it. Probably won't be giving it a rewatch anytime soon, though.

I feel like with all the complaints I get of so many recent releases being boring, I question whether everybody here just has a short attention span?.

Speaking for myself, I found LP somewhat boring too (even though I enjoyed it overall) but I loved loved Uncut Gems (sama lenght) and Spiderman (longer) and Last Duel (longer)... LP just had too little of tension and plot that felt oddly onedimensional for the master that is PTA..

I don't know seems like that's the critique I hear about a lot of differing reviewed movies here, but then don't really use this place as a real barometer for whether movies are good or not at all.

I'm not arguing people aren't allowed to have differing opinions but saying everything you dislike is just boring makes me wonder, what you do like? What don't you find boring? It's also quite a critique to place on anything you dislike.

I already responded to this very question of yours and gave you a list of 2021 films I liked or found intriguing in another thread a few days ago when u first asked me. LP was one of them as found just bits of it boring and plot weaker thatn PTAs usual amazing stuff but still it was an intriguing movie. Movies I really liked: Last Duel, Coda, Belfast, King Richard, Dont Look Up, Green Knight, Ricarrods, Nightmare Alley, Spiderman, and I am quite sure I will like Lost Daugther and LOVE Cyrano when I see it, mark my words

well then perhaps “what does One/ They like” and “what does One / They not find boring” would have been better suited for your previous response. enough..... you realize i am not your subject or daughter, correct? Perhaps “Lets not do this now please” or “enough, please” would have been better suited for your previous response, should you not opt for “true, I guess” option which might have fit the best after all
