How will City balls up their CL campaign this season? 2 - 2. Monaco are in good form this season.

Aren't City playing well right now? I'll say 1 - 0 City.

How good are this Monaco team to watch.
Remind me of Van Gaal's Ajax 95 outfit. Pace, technique, robust, direct, organised, efficient and really difficult to play against.
Some excellent young players to boot. Mbappe looks a special talent. Expecting Bernardo, Bakayoko and Fabinho to all be snapped by top European clubs this summer.

Like the perfect reverse park when nobody was watching and the perfect high note when nobody was listening, the perfect Champions League game (a 5-3 win for Manchester City) was wasted on a channel that almost nobody watches. A match that featured 90 minutes of ludicrous defending, ridiculous skill and relentless entertainment should have been watched by everybody who loves football and plenty of those with just a passing interest. When the fourth goal was scored in the 58th minute, partners should have had books kicked from their grasp; when the fifth goal was scored in the 61st minute, kids should have been dragged from their beds. There should have already been a flurry of texts telling those without a Twitter habit to switch on their TVs because they were missing a classic. This was a genuine eight-goal thriller, with goalkeeping errors, goalkeeping heroics, amateurish defending, amateurish tactics, amateurish refereeing, sublime finishing and lashings and lashings of unadulterated fun. And yet almost nobody I know was watching. It’s likely that under a million people saw the most entertaining game of the season so far, because it was tucked away on a channel available in a small minority of homes. There is nothing inherently wrong with BT Sport’s coverage but it is seen as a luxury that only few can afford, or at least justify. On Tuesday night it was a specialist channel broadcasting a game that would have had mass appeal. ..... Well most people I know have BT sports - so... and its no good sky having everything.. ok It would be nice to have this back on terrestrial. but its no worse than all the other sports being on Sky - I would rather pay my money to BT than SKY - even though I pay them both (through Virgin) Most people I now get virgin due to its exceptional Broadband . And BT sports comes with a tv package. There are also many who get BT sport who have BT tv and phone and internet - Its not a specialist channel at all. Its not a luxury (well it is) - but no one seems to think sky sports is a luxury - yet everyone has that....
