The first Star Wars movie will always be my favorite of the series. I also liked the Empire Strikes Back and then, I don't know why, but I lost all interest with these movies.

ESB. Although, masterful as it is, that movie has one fatal flaw... It does not feature Gial Ackbar.

Rogue One - it felt original even though it led up to the events of A New Hope, and it didn't remind me of a SW film so much as just a good sci-fi action film.
