For those of you who had already had a booster and had no or mild side effects, please let me know I wanna hear from you. It will be my first time Pfizer, I had Astra Zeneca both doses before (zero side effects) so I dont really know what to expect from Pfizer (other than the chip in my vein of course and new superpowers). But have seen some people be in pretty bad shape up to 48 hours after... anybody had Pfizer booster and can comment on how much of a Nothingburger it was for them? Thank you.

Moderna x 3: No significant issues with booster. Just mild pain in arm and general sluggishness. (Felt significantly worse after the second shot.)

Pfizer x 3
Shot #1: No side effects at all. Shot #2: Woke up with a headache the next day. I tried aspirin (they specifically tell you not to take aspirin or any anti-inflammatory drug before your shot). The aspirin did nothing. After several days, the headache (which was more annoying than anything else) went away on its own. Shot #3: Like with Shot #2, I woke up with a headache the next day. However, the headache was not as bad as the one after Shot #2. Since the Shot #2 headache didn't respond to aspirin, I didn't take any at first. After about three days, I did take some aspirin, and the headache stopped.
So to summarize, my Shot #2 side effects were mild, and my Shot #3 side effects were much like Shot #2, but even milder.

I did have minor symptoms after the first, a few more after the second, but am pressing on regardless. I follow the science!

I was planning to have my Moderna boost yesterday. When I talked to Kaiser Permanente last week, they said that the " booster tent" that they set up, near their main hospital, would be open M-F, at regular business hours.
When I called on Tuesday to see if they had any advice on the best hours, they said that the response to the open-hours was overwhelming, and they had to go to an appointment schedule. The earliest appointment was January 18th! The scheduler read off the earliest times. I selected 1:50 PM ... the first that he mentioned. By the time I asked for that time slot it was taken! I grabbed the 2:50 PM slot.
I have friends who have made appointments with Walgreens, and other pharmacies, and are having similar situations.
At least, the community is embracing vaccines, and boosters. That probably bodes well for all of us. But, I don't know if I should search for another, earlier, date.

We had a similar situation here too divtal. Actually my husband and I signed up and got the booster pretty easily But my daughter's was canceled due to the pneumonia holding on. Then we couldn't schedule one. The appointments were taken as quickly as they appeared with Kaiser Glad you have your appointment. All my best!

Keep up the great work! I have been fully vaccinated for quite some time now (no issues from it whatsoever ) but honestly don't know anything about the whole booster shot thing. Hope it goes well for ya.

Re booster, I will get it mostly because I am an at risk group AND dont have health insurance in the US so I will do what I can to avoid having to go to a hospital. Oh and my antibodies count and my T-Lymf/memory cell count is also low, I had it tested a few weeks ago so I feel like I really need the immunity boosting. I kept measuring my bodys response to both having had covid and having gotten the vaccine throughout the year and it keeps dropping every two months and now at 5 months 3 weeks its near zero, so it really seems like they do have a point with the 6 month revaccination thing.

Hey glad I could cheer ya up Nora! If you feel you need to get the booster shot then definitely get it (especially in the at risk group) I do know some of my co workers got the booster shot awhile back and remember them all saying their glad they got it and have had literally no negative side effects from it. You should be fine. Have a great night and Merry Christmas!

Good that you are keeping track of things! I just got my Moderna booster today, and so far, so good. I still double mask in high-risk indoor situations, but stay home a lot of the time, or just spend time with a trusted few. I have my loving kitties, dogs and (naughty) goats, and have lots of projects to work on, so it is easy for me to stay safe. I am still immuno-suppressed, to a degree, from my previous chemo, so I am all about handwashing, socially distancing and avoiding pathogens of all types. It's really not that hard when one is retired. Take care and I hope that white count comes up!

Late response, but thought about adding for anyone still getting a booster. Me and my parents all had the Moderna shots.
I had the same symptom I had after the first two shots, a sore arm for a couple of day.same with my mom. A sore arm.
My dad had the most serious reaction to the first two shots and the booster, i.e. chills, fatigue, headache that lasted one night.
