Really cool.
The traffic cop comedy bit was lame but definitely better than all eps so far by a parsec.

Any coincidence that (easily) the best episode of Boba's show so far is the one he doesn't even appear in?
That opening scene all the way up until we return to Tatooine was some of the best work from Disney's Star Wars team so far. The creativity and craftmanship were phenomenal.

Is that the one Bryce Dallas Howard directed? If so then people really want her to direct a full-fledged Star Wars movie.
Eh, maybe it will happen>

It was a full blown Mandalorian episode inside the Boba Fett show. I'll take it over what we've been getting, but it really underscores why this series was completely unnecessary in the first place.

I guess it (directing talent) runs in the family.

Just working my way through this now and yes, have to say this episode was probably the best post Disney purchase Star Wars I've seen.
Unfortunately Episode 6 - which was moving along with similar great potential - killed itself by prequel-ing this show's version of Luke Skywalker.

I guess it (directing talent) runs in the family. Vanity Fair had the opportunity to sit down with Howard to discuss her pivot to behind-the-camera work. During the conversation, they mention that fan fervor has slowly been building, demanding that she be given the chance to direct her own Star Wars movie. She responds to those calls with dignity, saying that "it’s unbelievable" and, while it's a difficult prospect, she hopes to "never let anyone down, ever." Read her full quote below: I mean, what do you say [to something like that]? It’s unbelievable. I just hope to never let anyone down, ever, as long as I live. That’s not necessarily always possible, but my goodness, you know? screenrant.com/star-wars-movie-bryce-dallas-howard-director-response/
